NET LED has never been prouder to be a member of Made In Britain.
In 2020, we made the decision to manufacture our new range of Bulkheads at our very own facility in Cambridge. With over a decade of experience and knowledge dealing with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) worldwide, we were confident in our ability to produce a high volume of products using our very own LIAQA (Lighting Association Quality Approved) production lines.
We’re able to:
- set, control, and guarantee the quality of our products
- minimise hassle by sourcing solutions that are designed specifically for British installations
- respond to demand faster, reduce product lead time, and help reduce stock holding for wholesalers
- partner with renowned UK suppliers such as Tridonic, Prime Light and Jet Press
As well as supporting UK suppliers, local production significantly lowers our carbon footprint as we’re shipping fewer goods in from the Far East.
At a time when many workers were being furloughed or made redundant, this new venture allowed us to create more Cambridge-based jobs which, in turn, allowed us to fulfil customer requirements quickly and efficiently with an increased labour force.
Manufacturing allows us to fulfil large orders with shorter lead times than competitors while maintaining control over the products’ quality, of which our Production Team have an outstanding commitment to deliver. They currently average an increasing number of units – currently a monthly average of 9,000!
This includes Duxford Bulkheads and Gear Trays, Newton Metal and Polycarbonate Bulkheads, and Yaxley Slim Circulars. Available options include:

Our team of engineers carry out all necessary conversions prior to despatch, so you don’t have to order any extras and your contractor can save time on site knowing that we’ve already done some of the work. Everything is carried out in our LIAQA approved manufacturing facility and then tested re-certified for CE (European Conformity).
Not only that, but every product that we modify or convert undergoes a thorough testing process before it leaves our warehouse. So you can rest assured that any modified products are up to the standard you expect.

These Bulkheads are durable and water resistant with their upgraded IP65 rated housing, and can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Newton Range
Our toughest Bulkheads.
Newton Bulkheads are perfect for outdoor areas. Available in Standard, Emergency, Motion and Photocell models, in either Metal or Polycarbonate housings. Mini 12W Bulkheads are only available in Standard and Emergency models, in cast aluminium housings.

Yaxley Range
Not your average Bulkhead.
Our Yaxley Slim Circulars have a lifespan of up to five times greater than traditional fluorescent lighting. Its maintained high output Emergency operation ensures constant lighting in corridors or stairwells in an emergency situation.
