Business Development Manager

£35,000-£40,000 Full-time, Permanent

NET LED Lighting is a manufacturer and distributor of commercial LED Lighting to UK electrical wholesalers and has a reputation for providing outstanding customer service. We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our enthusiastic, energetic account management team based at Swavesey, Cambridge. We are offering the successful candidate expected earnings of £35,000 – £40,000 plus excellent benefits including BUPA Healthcare and pension contribution.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, sales orientated and experienced account manager and will join our office based team to provide proactive customer service to around 120 accounts with an annual combined spend of circa £1M via telephone, video meetings, email and face to face meetings. Experience of B2B internal sales is essential and having worked with electrical wholesales, would be an advantage.

This is primarily an office-based role, but you must also be prepared to travel using your own vehicle for face-to-face meetings approx. 1 day per week.

Skills required:

  • Good standard education; including strong literacy, numeracy and PC skills
  • Previous experience in sales and account management
  • Able to develop excellent product knowledge
  • Team player
  • Commercially aware
  • Positive and polite attitude
