Water, Dust and Impact Resistance
Whether you’re replacing existing fittings in a warehouse or installing new outdoor lighting in a freshly built car park, the fittings in question must be water, dust, and impact resistance to deal with industrial and outdoor conditions. Lighting manufacturers measure these with IP rating (water and dust) and IK rating (impact). For example, an IP65 rating ensures protection against water and dust and an IK10 rating is the equivalent of being hit by a fast-moving cricket ball. For industrial applications, we recommend using fittings with an IP65 and IK08 rated fitting minimum. This ensures resistance against water, dust, and impact.
Easy installations
Installing a high bay in a high-ceilinged factory can be a major pain point for electricians. Not only does the higher elevation make the process more dangerous but more time-intensive. Our Orwell range is designed with this in mind, supplied with a 1m flex cable and suspension ring for easy installation. Available as Standard or Motion versions, all with or without Emergency Kits.
Outdoor expertise
Outdoor lighting needs to be reliable, robust and fairly priced. The Ramsey Range of LED High Power Flood Lights includes 100W, 150W, 200W and 240W models with a colour temperature of 6000K. Complete with tamper-proof fixings, the fixture also uses tempered glass which provides double protection and good self-clean, making this an ideal choice for outdoor application.
They incorporate a connector for an optional plug-in Motion and Photocell Sensor to allow for additional control of the flood light’s function. With power in / power out connectivity, Ramseys are easier to install when compared to alternatives. They also have a breather valve that allows heat to escape and prevents condensation.
