Main Offices
A box standard, 4000K downlight will get the job done here. Not only can a Caxton do just that, available in 3″, 4″, 6″, 8″ sizes to accommodate existing cut-outs in a wall or ceiling, but the emergency versions will ensure compliance with current building regulations.
Bathrooms/Shower Rooms
The IP65 rated fascia ensures water and dust resistance, making it the optimal choice in bathrooms and shower rooms. Not only that, but the TP(a) rated diffuser means that in the event of the fire, the diffuser will self-extinguish, which helps to minimise the spread of the flame.
Canteen
A typical downlight will be single colour 4000K, making it unappealing to use in relaxation areas. However, each Caxton model is tri-colour, letting electricians choose between 3000K, 4000K, or 5500K when installing the fitting. This function makes the downlight so versatile, a warmer 3000K light will be more appropriate for a canteen, whilst an office space would need something either 4000K or 5500K depending on user preference.
Meeting Rooms
During presentations, it’s better to have more control over your lighting. Dimmable Caxtons are available in 6″ and 8″ sizes, so end users can lower light levels when appropriate. Consider a Bluetooth upgrade, so you can connect to a wireless remote and use the scene function for theatre or speaker style events.
