5 Year Extended Warranty
NET LED Lighting products (“Goods”) are subject to a guarantee period of 24 or 36 months from the date of delivery of the goods (“Guarantee Period”). Guarantee period is as stated on technical product data.
Within the Guarantee Period, NET LED will at its option will repair or replace any Goods which are defective as detailed in clause 9.3 of our terms and conditions. For a copy of our terms and conditions please visit our website http://www.netled.co.uk.
Our Standard guarantees and our Extended Warranty are in addition to your Statutory rights as a consumer and are not affected by the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Conditions The Extended Warranty:
1.1. Must be applied for and registered within 28 days of purchase of the Goods.
1.2. Takes effect from the end of the 36 month guarantee.
1.3. Applies only to purchases of new Goods (i.e. Products that are not bought second hand at an auction or by any other means) that were purchased from an authorised re-seller within the United Kingdom.
1.4. Is valid only if the date of the purchase can be verified by the production of a valid sales invoice.
1.5. Is valid only if the goods are returned against a pre-authorised RMA number (obtainable by contacting customer services) together with the Extended Warranty registration number and original proof of purchase at the point of raising a claim.
2.1. If upon inspection a faulty item is considered beyond repair, NET LED reserves the right at its sole discretion to provide customers with a new Product of equivalent specification.
2.2. Any repaired or replaced Products will be covered by the Extended Warranty for the remaining period of the Extended Warranty relating to the original Products supplied.
3.1. The Extended Warranty takes effect immediately after the end of the 36 month Guarantee Period and, providing the Extended Warranty has been validly registered, it will continue in effect for the period of 5 years from the date of purchase of the Products.
3.2. In the event NET LED replaces any of the Products in accordance with clause 2.1 above, the Extended Warranty remains valid for the remaining period of the original Products supplied and no new Extended Warranty will be implied.
4.1. NET LED shall not be liable for the repair or replacement in the event that a Product has failed due to any the following:
Non-compliance with installation and safety regulations given in the installation instructions.
Faults caused by the installer through installation errors including, but not limited to, connection to an incorrect power supply.
If the Product has not been installed by a qualified electrician.
Inappropriate use or intentional damage by the owner or third parties.
Repairs carried out by parties other than NET LED.
External influences (e.g weather, transit damage).
4.2. NET LED shall only be liable for repair or replacement costs for goods returned against an RMA to ist factory
4.3. NET LED will not cover any labour costs associated with the removal / re-installation of any goods
4.4. Carriage costs of returned items are not covered by the Extended Warranty.
4.5. Batteries are subject to a 1 year guarantee period only, which cannot be extended.
5.1. NET LED shall not be liable for any loss of profit, or any special, indirect or consequential loss, or any costs, damages, charges, fees or expenses except for liability that NET LED is not allowed to exclude by law.
5.3. NET LED’s total liability in connection with the provision of the Products shall be limited to the price paid by the customer for that Product.
6. Customer Service
6.1. In the event of any technical queries, customers are requested to contact NET LED for technical advice on solving problems. Customer service can be contacted Monday – Friday between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm.
6.2. In the event that there is a fault with Goods outside the Guarantee Period and as specified by our general terms and conditions, customers are obliged to produce a Extended Warranty certificate number issued in their name for the Products to be repaired or replaced.
