Talking Product: End-to-End Designs with LED Linear Luminaires

NET LED Lighting has introduced the latest product in its growing range of commercial lighting products: the LED Linear Luminaire. LED Linear Luminaires were designed in response to demand for energy saving, long-lasting, complete-luminaire solutions.

The Linear Luminaire features the latest, state-of-the-art, low energy LED technology. They are direct replacements for T5 and T8 tubes, but maintenance free so designed to be fitted and forgotten. Boasting a simple clip design ensuring easy installation, LED Linear Luminaires are perfect replacements not only for complete fluorescent fittings, but also for LED tubes.

Units incorporate a slim, low profile design, making them a discreet solution perfect for a wide range of applications. Slimmer than a batten fitting with an LED tube by more than 40%, Linear Luminaires deliver high levels of light while remaining low-profile.

A valuable feature of these products is the ability to create ‘seamless’ end-to-end lighting designs. This allows commercial applications to achieve even distribution of light along a linear path – perfect for use on assembly lines, in supermarkets and to illuminate the full length of walkways.

Achieving end-to-end designs with LED Linear Luminaires is simple, thanks to multiple power entry points. Powering units from the rear means both ends of the unit remain flat, allowing them to be mounted in a linear arrangement.

Installing LED Linear Luminaires in a linear arrangement can be achieved by following these simple steps:

1. Open the unit by pressing the circular clips on the side of the luminaire housing. This separates the diffuser from the housing, allowing for easy access to the inside of the unit.
2. Pop out the required cable entry hole. For linear arrangements, this is the Rear entry point.
3. Fix the aluminium housing onto a mounting surface.
4. Once correctly wired, replace the diffuser and push it in until it clicks into place. Repeat these steps for each luminaire, placing them end-to-end.
