Your Choice

NET LED Lighting is the manufacturers’ distributor for a range of commercial LED lighting solutions.

The company was incorporated in January 2009, stemming from one of the UK’s leading digital signage manufacturers. This brought over 15 years of knowledge and experience in SMD LED technologies, ensuring from the outset that we only supply products that meet our customers’ stringent quality and performance demands.

Electrical wholesalers can buy NET LED products with confidence in the knowledge that NET LED is an official licensee and member of the Philips LED Luminaires and Retrofit Bulbs Licensing Program, covering Philips’ patented technologies which are incorporated in many commercial LED lighting products.

All NET LED Lighting products meet CE and RoHS standards and are manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation. This means we have direct lines of traceability for our products, ensuring quality assurance standards are met. Products are covered by a three year repair or replacement warranty, which may be extended to five years by end user registration regardless of how many hours used or times the lamp may have been switched on and off during the period.

Whilst our products are highly environmentally friendly in relation to conventional lighting technologies, we recognise that our manufacturing and distribution activities necessarily have an impact on the enviroment. We therefore work to a strict environmental policy which is independently audited by BSI in line with the company’s ISO 14001 procedures. We take our waste and recycling responsibilities seriously, being a Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive registered company.NET LED Lighting accreditations ISO 9001 ISO 14001 logos

A light-emitting diode (LED) is an electronic light source. The LED was introduced as a practical electronic component in 1962. All early devices emitted low-intensity red light, but modern LEDs are available across the visible, ultraviolet and infra-red wavelengths, with very high brightness. LEDs are based on the semiconductor diode. When the diode is forward biased (switched on), electrons are able to recombine with holes and energy is released in the form of light. This effect is called electroluminescence and the colour of the light is determined by the energy gap of the semiconductor. The LED is small in area (less than 1mm²) with integrated optical components to shape its radiation pattern and assist in reflection. LEDs present many advantages over traditional light sources including lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, improved robustness, smaller size and faster switching.

Our commitment is to provide products and services that meet or exceed our internal partners’ and external customer requirements and to continuously improve our efficiency and value in doing do.
